In My Backpack

I’m not sure about you guys, but I love buying new school supplies. Just having a clean, fresh start to a new year makes me feel like I can do anything. I decided to do an “In my backpack” post to show you my school supplies for this year. I am doing half of my classes at a school and the other half at home.

My backpack for this year is the Gear-Up Pool Paisley by PBTeen. My lunch box also the same design. It comes with double stitching on the straps and extra padding on the back which is a big plus. On the top of the backpack, there is a pocket to put your iPod, mp3 player, or phone into. There is a hole to pull the earphones out so you can listen to music while you’re walking or waiting.

On the front of the bag, there is a pull string pocket that is big enough to hold a (size) book. In the picture above, the book is United We Spy by Ally Carter, the last book in the Gallagher Girl Series. On both sides of the backpack, there is a mesh pocket that is big enough to hold one of the Sierra Jensen books.

On one of the zippers, I have my Wild Mango Mojito hand sanitizer from Bath & Body Works, a Taylor Swift key chain that my sister gave me, and a turtle key chain.

The bigger pocket of the backpack holds all of my binders, paper, my planner, and my pencil pouch. All of my binders are from Target. I reuse them each year to hold my notes and assignments and such. In the second pocket of my backpack, I have my flash cards and calculator. The smallest pocket of the backpack holds some more sticky notes, pens, and a little clipboard notepad. I bought it at Michael’s back in April. I like to use it for random thoughts or reminders.

My planner for this year is the Ladybird 2016 Planner. I love it because it’s big and has lots of space for writing.

My pencil pouch this year was actually a gift from a friend. I love it because it can hold tons of pens. It also holds my sticky notes, scissors, and Post-It tabs. My aunt gave me this flash drive a while back and I have a chance to use it this year. It is the Tribe Papa Smurf Flash drive with 4GB.

Okay, on to the lunch box. :) As I mentioned earlier, my lunch box for this year is part of the Gear-Up Pool Paisley collection. The front pocket of the lunch box is kind of small so I put sugar packets or Crystal Light powder packets in there. The inside of the lunch box is a pretty good size.

I’m super excited for this upcoming school year. I can’t wait to use my planner and my flash drive. :) What are you looking forward to most about school? Let me know in the comments below. Also, what is your favorite item in your book bag?

Thanks for reading and I hope you all have a great week!
