Hey everyone! If you’ve been around my blog lately, you might have noticed that I haven’t posted for two weeks… That’s because I’ve been traveling but now I’m back! And I’m ready to tell you all about it.
I spent the last 13 days in sunny Florida with my family. It was beautiful. It was relaxing. It was hot. Very hot. But that’s nothing a dip in the pool can’t cure! :)
The first day was spent buying groceries and swimming the beautiful blue of the ocean.
On the second and third days, I worked on my bullet journal. I also worked on memorizing my favorite Bible passage – Romans 15:1-13
Romans 15:1-13 talks all about hope, endurance, and how to act as Christ did.
“For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. ”
“Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.”
I love these verses because they remind me that God is a God of hope and unity (verse 5). It also reminds me that the Bible is for everyone (verse 9). My favorite verse from this passage is verse 13 which says,
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
During my long vacation, my family and I went kayaking through mangroves which was fun and difficult at the same time. I also received some AMAZING news which I will share pretty soon so keep an eye out!
Let’s see… What else did I do? Oh right! My parents took us to see some museums and national parks which is always interesting.
I also read. A lot. The Katie Weldon Series by Robin Jones Gunn was among the favorites.
Well that’s pretty much it! I hope you all had a great day!
