Summer is officially over and it was great! I had so much fun relaxing and now I’m ready to head back to school. Way back in April I posted my Summer Bucket List for this year and now it’s time to revisit my list. :)
Have a picnic– I had a picnic with a church that my family visits sometimes. It was really fun listening to the stories from the older women and the hopes of the younger men.
- Make ice cream
Finish a project– Cleaning my room, working on my blog, and sewing were some of the projects that I completed this summer. Start a bullet journal– The Bullet Journal has been one of the greatest discoveries that I’ve made. I absolutely love it! Here’s a sneak peek.
Host a guest post– I hosted Aria from Purrfectly Inspired. Here is the link to the interview and the link to her blog. Visit downtown to take pictures– I went Downtown with my family and a few friends for the day on a walking tour and I took some pictures. I loved hearing about the history of my city.
- Finish 25 crafts from Pinterest
Work on Blog Surprise!– The big blog surprise was the Giveaway that I hosted when I reached 100 followers. I’ll be hosting another one when I reach 250. Finish sewing project– I’ve mentioned multiple times that I started up sewing and quilting again. This summer I finally finished my first quilt which was a gift for a family friend.
- Try stand up paddling
- Go camping
Write a song– I started writing a song with my friend based off of Psalms 3. I wrote the music and she organized the lyrics and helped with the blending. We’re hoping to write an album in the future. :)
Out of my 12 goals for the summer, I completed 8 of them which I think is pretty good considering how much I had going on this summer. I will definitely add the unfinished ones onto my bucket list for next year.
What were some things on your summer bucket list that you completed? Let me know in the comments below! I’d love to hear from you. :)
