While a lot of people will pass by this day with little more than some chocolate and colorful Easter eggs, I hope that you will spend today celebrating how Christ has risen!
After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven, and going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men. The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.” So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshipped him. Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.”
Hi, everyone! So first off, I just want to say sorry for staying away for so long and not posting. The homework loads have doubled since midterms. But I’m back now!
So, Spring is on its way! (Or already here in some places.) And with Spring comes Spring Break. My Spring Break is next week and I’m super excited. I might be traveling with my family during our break. What are you guys doing for Spring Break? Let me know in the comments below!
I wanted to share with you some Bible verses that have encouraged me.
– Psalm 36:5-11 –
Your steadfast love, O Lord, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds. Your righteousness is like the mountains of God; your judgements are like the great deep; man and beast you save, O Lord. How precious is your steadfast love O God! The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings. They feast on the abundance of your house, and you give them drink from the river of your delights. For with you is the fountain of life; in your light do we see light. Oh, continue your steadfast love to those who know you, and your righteousness to the upright in heart! Let not the foot of arrogance come upon me, nor the hand of the wicked drive me away.
This is my prayer for you. I hope you have a great week!
Do you ever just stop and think of all the people who love you? Not like “I know them so it counts” love. I’m talking about the “I will drop anything and everything to come help you” type of love. Maybe your list would start like:
And… That’s it. And then you start to think and you come up with a few more.
And then you’re like “Oh yeah!” And you add 20 more people.

And then you’re like “Wow! That’s a lot!” But there are tons of more people who love you, people you don’t even know or have never met but they are praying for you and they love you! That’s a lot of love! It can’t get better than this, can it? Yes, it can! God loves you. How much? Like, a lot. More than everyone you know could ever love you all put together!
Psalm 36:5 says that God’s love is steadfast and extends to the heavens. That’s REALLY far which means that God loves you a lot! I am so happy that we can go to God for everything and anything, knowing that He loves us and will always be there for us! It’s just one of the many things that I’m thankful for. :)
Let me know what you are most thankful for and don’t forget to follow! :)
