May Memories

Hello, everyone! Let’s talk about May. The last month of school. Crazy and utterly exhausting but SO full of happy memories! In a way, I miss it but at the same time, I’m so glad it’s over!

The first week of May was full of happy friend memories. One of my best friends made me a beautiful pillow in between her study times. How she did it, I have no idea, but it’s beautiful and I love it so much! AP exams weren’t fun but it came with excused absenses and trips to Aldi’s to get ice cream. My 6 friends and I shared a whole tub of ice cream and it was amazing! A couple of days later, I started my new bullet journal!

For Mother’s Day, my family and I took a trip to the mountains for the weekend. It was beautiful and a great way to spend the day celebrating my mom. We were even able to see a couple of geese in the river!

Next came a couple of pool parties with some amazing friends! My sister celebrated a birthday with some of her friends. Then I hosted a couple of last minute parties with my friends before school ended. I loved hanging out with everyone and can’t wait to make more memories with them this summer! Then came May 25. The day my exams started. I had my French exam first and did pretty well! After that, I had 3 more exams, British Literature, Chemistry, and Spanish. My last exam was yesterday! So glad to be done! :)

  1. Way back in the beginning of the month, two of my friends drew me. We even got our class to vote on which drawing of me was better. Which drawing do you like better?
  2. School being over! – Yes, of course I miss my friends but I’ll see them again in the fall. No more exams, early morning classes, or late night cramming. :)
  3. Paper Mate Ink Joy pens – My parents got me a bunch of pens and some of them were Ink Joy pens. They write really smooth and are great for journalling.
  4. I was able to get together with a friend twice this month and it was really nice. It’s amazing how much you can learn about other people over lunch.
  5. More drawing sessions with my sis. – What can I say? My sister is amazing and so is her artwork. :)
  6. Fuze iced tea with lemon
  7. Sitting in the garden. – Summer time is such a beautiful time to be outside and enjoy the sunshine.
  8. Bullet Journals – I think I might have mentioned this on another Monthly Favorite but bullet journaling has been great for me. I love being able to design my own planner and adding extra pages for doodling and to-do lists.
  9. Dying For You by Otto Knows feat. Lindsey Stirling
  10. Proverbs 21:31 –  “The horse is made ready for the day of battle,
but victory rests with the Lord.”

How was your May? I hope you all have a great day!
