10 Things On My Bucket List

Hey, everyone! How are you? Today was AMAZING! My a cappella team got to meet with a college a cappella team to learn and sing with them. It was a great experience and we learned a lot about getting the songs to feel how they should sound.

Also today, I wanted to share 10 things on my bucket list. My actual bucket list is very long. If you want to check out the entire list, click here. ;)

  1. Learn sign language. – I think sign language is really cool! Some of my friends know a bit of sign language so maybe they can help me. ;)
  2. Spend an entire day watching Disney movies. – Disney movies are really fun! There are so many that I haven’t seen in a long time and would love to see again!
  3. Have a beach bonfire. – The beach is so beautiful at night with all of the stars. It would be a lot of fun to have a bonfire with some friends on the beach under the stars.
  4. Visit Mount Rushmore. – Mount Rushmore is a must-see.
  5. Visit all seven continents. – I love traveling! It would be awesome to visit every continent.
  6. Go to a midnight movie premiere. – I’ve always wanted to do this. :)
  7. Stargaze on a roof. – I LOVE watching the stars!
  8. Participate in a color run. – I’ve seen pictures of color runs all of the internet and it looks like a lot of fun! My cousin, C, ran in a color run and she said it was really cool.
  9. Read 1000 books. – Reading is a great thing to do. :)
  10. Write a book. – I really like writing. Ever since I was a kid, I dreamed of writing and publishing a book someday.

What are some things on your bucket list? Let me know in the comments below! Have a great day! :)

How I Read Book Tag

Hey everyone! How was your Easter? Mine was amazing. I’ve always loved the church services on Easter Sunday.
So sorry for the long break that I took but I’m back now and I have a tag for you. :)

Blog

I was tagged by Anna from MyBookishDream to complete the How I Read Book Tag. Go check out her blog! I absolutely love it! :)

*note: none of the pictures or gifs on the post are mine*

HOW DO YOU FIND ABOUT NEW BOOKS TO READ?

I don’t really have a system that I use. Sometimes I find my favorite books just by browsing in a book store, looking for books that look good. Other times, I find books that are similar to other books that I have read and loved. Mostly, I read books that were suggested by my friends and classmates. (So if you have any recommendations, let me know!)

HOW DID YOU GET INTO READING?

Growing up, playing outside wasn’t really an option so instead, I spent my time reading and drawing. I have always loved reading and you can almost always find me with a book.

HOW HAS YOUR TASTE IN BOOKS CHANGED AS YOU GOT OLDER?

I read a lot more series than I used to. And the books have gotten thicker of course. I think the biggest change is that I read more classic books or books based on classics than I used to.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU BUY BOOKS?

I don’t really buy books as often as I’d like. Sometimes I will go months without buying another book and other times, I will buy a whole series in a couple of days. But my parents usually buy the books for me so… Hehe Thanks mom and dad! *waves*

HOW DID YOU GET INTO BOOK REVIEWING?

I haven’t reviewed a book yet on here but I’m hoping to. I actually have a couple of book reviews planned so look for them soon. ;)

HOW DO YOU REACT WHEN YOU DON’T LIKE THE ENDING OF A BOOK?

It really depends on the rest of the book. If I didn’t like it too well, it isn’t really a big deal. But if I loved the book and the ending wasn’t too great, I try to think about how I would have liked it to end and justify why the author didn’t end it that way. It’s a long process but by the end, I’m totally fine with the ending.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU TAKE A SNEAK PEAK AT THE ENDING TO SEE IF THERE’S A HAPPY ENDING?

Not very often. Sometimes I read the end if there are a few pages left and still a lot of things left to happen.
