Believe and trust. These two words are at the forefront of my sight as I try to navigate the unknowns and anxieties of this season. How can I remind myself to believe God has a plan when there is so much uncertainty? How can I faithfully trust Him in this time of fear? This is where the importance of prayer comes in. Prayer, for me, is a time of surrender, a time where I close my eyes, look to Him, and cast my burdens on His strong shoulders. Prayer redirects my thoughts and worries back to the promises that He has made for me. Will you follow me in praying today?

New Post! With the circumstances around the world right now, I wanted to take a minute to share how I am balancing all the stress, fear, and anxiety that comes with facing the unknown. Psalm 145:18 “The LORD is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth.”

It’s a beautiful day where I am today. Throughout I’ve chosen to #chooseGod. For me, I challenged myself to pray for at least 5 minutes every hour on the hour. It has helped to redirect my mind away from the chaos and fear of the world and back to the Almighty Powerful God. I know it’s crazy out there. But God has a plan. He is most important and He is most loving. May be repent, believe, and turn back to Him. Will you be willing to do this?

Sometimes things don’t go the way we plan. I certainly didn’t know 2020 would involve this much change. But the sun still comes up every morning and God gives us ways to lean on Him. Especially during days of stress and uncertainty, it because doubly important to evaluate where you are and what is most important to you. I encourage you to challenge yourself to spend more time with God and His teachings in the Bible. Look to Him. Seek His peace. He is calling us to repent and believe for the Kingdom is near. Don’t let your fear and anxieties waste your day. This is my challenge for you and me. May we grow in His love.

Happy Monday Morning! Today, I focusing on choosing God, choosing love, choosing hope. When I know that the week or the day or the hour or the moment will be stressful, I must remind myself to choose joy, to choose God again and again. It’s easy to get caught up in what I need to do, especially on Mondays. Will you make a point to choose Him today? Will you do this with me? Let’s remember 1 Timothy 4:10 which says, “For to this end we took and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe.”
